for us halloween weekend has been a sacred set of nights. we dedicate this time to our most decadent/elegant desires. this year, we inhabit our new home, a six-floor mansion at the center of manhattan, for a night that we hope will be remembered for many years to come.

we continue that practice with our most recent ode to the mythology, the masquerade, the "veil between worlds is thin," that is the annual tradition of halloween.
new york city celebrates this holiday with a level of sophistication and abandon that other cities reserve for sacred festivals. perhaps this is our religion. or perhaps we are simply seeking any opportunity for catharsis.
