Perhaps a thesis about the Brat Summer meme, the possibility or impossibility of retrieving indigenous agriculture, the fascist origins of Elon Musk’s philosophy, or the hidden truth about UFOs? These are just some of the kinds of presentations we’re hoping to see.
Please email jessica@cllctv.com if you’d like to give a 10-minute or under presentation. Powerpoints are most welcome, but not required. We’re hoping to develop a “genre" for these rants over time, but for now anything goes. If there’s time, we’ll also be inviting volunteers from the audience.

With Douglas Rushkoff
Doors 7:00PM · Town Hall 7:30PM · Performances 9PM
In the wake of the election, many of us are concerned about the fate of democracy and our nation. We want to talk about this. However, rather than focusing solely on the institutions that are failing us, what if we take on the functions they are failing to execute? The more we do for each other and the more resilient we are from the bottom up, the less we need to be provided from the top down.
How can we rise to the challenge of this moment? Join us for our second Town Meeting, where we will envision and percolate ideas for us to support one another and the greater world through the days ahead.
The discussion will be moderated by CX member and Scholar-in-Residence, Douglas Rushkoff PhD, a cultural philosopher, professor, documentarian, podcast host, and author of twenty books. CX members and guests will be joined by subscribers of Rushkoff’s Team Human podcast and friends of Psychedelics for Climate Action and the Bioregional Embassy.
Tea Ritual · An Evening of Tea and Transformation
With Eszter Toth
Doors 6:00PM · Tea Ceremony 6:30-7:30PM

Eszter returns with a remarkable selection of handmade teas crafted by the indigenous Bulang people and Master Liu, a Taiwanese Buddhist tea master, bringing their stories and traditions to life through the art of tea.
In the Chinese tea ceremony, tea is far more than a drink—it is a meditation on aesthetics, peace, and connection. Each sip offers a chance to release the troubles of the day, quiet the mind, and find spaciousness within.
This 60-minute silent tea experience provides a grounding transition from the bustle of the workday into the stillness of our communal space. Through the delicate interplay of tea, water, and ritual, we’ll return to our bodies, finding clarity and inner peace before meaningful conversations later in the evening.
